Purpose
The Basic Purpose of the Illinois Country Music Association is to promote Country, Gospel, Bluegrass, and Western music in the State of Illinois in the following ways:
Promote all forms of country dancing.
Recognize the musical achievements of country artists.
Inform all members of matters of interest by newsletter, magazine or other publications.
Produce and sponsor shows, events and benefits for various causes.
Provide information to and encourage new and established artists.
Work in cooperation with the Illinois Country Music Museum and Hall of Fame.
Membership 
Membership is open to any person who pays annual dues.
General Membership is designated to all individuals in good standing. General members will receive a membership card, newsletters, magazines, announcements, voting privileges for the State ICMA Awards Show and to elect the State Executive Board of Directors, and any other privileges as designated by the State Executive Board of Directors.
Family Membership is available for family members living in the same household as that of a general member. These members will receive the same privileges of a general member and be entitled to a reduced membership fee. Only copy of a publication or announcement will be distributed per household.
Commercial Memberships are available for businesses and organizations. Commercial members are initially given a one time 1/4 page ad at no cost to be placed in the Newsletter and then receive a continuous 10% discount on all future ads. Commercial members do not receive ballots, and have no voting privileges.
